(Worthy News) – Hurricane Jose pulled farther away from the Caribbean Sunday morning and is expected to weaken over the next few days as it moves across the western Atlantic, the National Hurricane Center said.
In its 11 p.m. advisory Sunday night, the NHC said the center of the storm was located about 245 miles northeast of Grand Turk Island with wind speeds of 115 mph. It is moving in a northwest direction at 14 mph.
“This motion is expected to continue overnight, followed by a reduction in forward speed and a turn toward the north on Monday,” the NHC said. “Jose is then forecast to move slowly toward the east and southeast on Tuesday.” [ Source (Read More…) ]
